Description:
English delft circular punch bowl decorated in blue, red, and yellow, with an applied foot. The well is decorated in blue with single floral spray in the center surrounded with a band of four sets of alternating stylized flower and leaf patterns; the inner rim edge is encircled with a blue band of four sets of alternating diaper-work and scratched-out wriggly lines on a dark blue background, typical of London production. The outside is decorated in orange, yellow, and blue with a chenoiserie landscape scene of a house, trees, rocks, foliage, and fence on one side, with a smaller scene of a large rock, trees, foliage, and fence on the opposite side. The bowl is supported on an applied foot ring.
