Description:
English delft circular, shallow punch bowl with dark blue decoration. The outside is decorated overall with floral sprays. The inside is decorated with a large floral spray in the center well, a band with three floral sprays alternating with three stylized flower heads, and a blue band of diaper-work alternating with leaves around the inside rim edge. There is a brown band around the top of the edge. The bowl is supported on an applied foot ring. A shallow bowl is typical of a late 18th century bowl, and the dark blue glaze is typical of London.
