Description:
English delft circular bowl with blue decoration. The well is decorated with a chinoiserie garden scene of tall bamboo, lotus flower with large leaves, grass sprigs, smaller flower and a scroll design on the bottom. The rim is heavily decorated with diaper work and floral designs alternating with dotted circles within scroll patterns (per donor: "fish roe medallions").
