Description:
English delft circular punch bowl with blue and purple decoration. The outside has a chinoiserie landscape scene with a man walking with a stick, bracket-roofed buildings, running fence, and trees, with a smaller building and hill shapes on the opposite side. The well has a scene of a building and tree in the center, with a scratched-blue band around the inside rim edge. The bowl is supported on an applied foot ring. The glaze, decoration, and shape is typical of London production.
