Description:
Chinese export porcelain round-bellied mug with handle decorated in the Famille rose palette in pink, purple, green, brown, orange, red, black, and gilding. The sides are decorated with a European woman leaning against a tree trunk with a young boy seeming to jump up on her while a man holding a flower bouquet looks on from the right, and two red, black and gilt shaped panels with small reserves on each side of the handle extending from the rim to the foot. The mug has a flared rim, attached handle with gilding down the length and a heart-shaped terminus, and flared foot.
