Description: Chinese export porcelain sauceboat decorated in red, rose, yellow, green, blue, black, and gilding, which has a cartouche with a blue and gold coronet over a sun and turret under the spout. This Continental coat of arms may be those of Duranti of Toulouse, which correctly painted would have an azure field. The ovoid, moulded body has four lobed sides based on a contemporary silver shape; attached extruding "C" shaped handle with slight scroll attachment; rounded spout between two rib mould protrusions. The oval flared foot with its flat base is decorated with a red and gilt flowering vine. There is a yellow, rose, red and green tulip and peony flowering bouquet tied with gold and red ribbon in the inside center.
