Description:
English pearlware oval platter with blue scalloped rim decorated with a raised and molded rope band around the beaded edge, and a band of impressed repetitve but irregular numbers of large and small raised, inverted leaves extending from the blue band to the white rim. The platter, which has a deep oval well, was probably used for meat at the table.
