Description:
English Staffordshire pearlware miniature vegetable dish and cover, probably from a large miniature dinner service, with a pressed "X" in the bottom of the dish. The dish has age, firing cracks and crazing. The cover has one crack and one chip in close proximity. The reddish-brown transfer print decoration shows a tree that covers the upper surface.
