Description:
Hand-colored engraving titled "Charlotte, Queen of Great Britain, &c" with the inscription across the top: Engraved for BARNARD's New Completely Authentic History of England."; and the inscription across the bottom: "Born. May 19, 1744. Landed in England Sepr. 7. Married Sepr. 8/ and crowned at Westminster Abbey Sepr. 22. 1761." Princess Charlotte of Meckleburg-Strelitz, Germany, married George III (1738-1820), grandson of George II (1630-1685 and reigned from 1660-1685), who reigned from 1760 to 1820.
