Description:
Hand-colored engraving of Queen Christina, wife of Frederick I, engraved by Hieronomous Sperling and printed by Johan Christian Leopold, with text in Latin and German. Christina was the mother of Frederick II of Prussia, or Frederick the Great (1712-1786), who reigned from 1740-1786 and was a hero to the English because of his alliance with them against the French during the Seven Years War (1756-1763).
