Description:
Book titled "A Narrative of the Voyages Round the World, Performed by Captain James Cook with an Account of His Life During the Previous and Intervening Periods. By A. Kippis, D.D. F.R.S. and S.A. In Two Volumes. Vol. I." This version of the voyages of James Cook (1728-1779) by Andrew Kippis (1725-1795) was first published in London in 1788, and appeared in several subsequent edtions. This book has marblized end boards, and a leather-bound, gilt-stamped back.
