Description:
English Worcester soft-paste porcelain with added soap rock ( i.e,.a soapstone body) teaset with 17 pieces, each decorated with flower sprays in pink, purple, green, and brown, which was made in the later years of the First (or Dr. Wall) period (1751/2-1774). The set includes a teapot with lid, six-side teapot stand, cream pot, two waste bowls (one large, one smaller), six teacups without handles, and six deep saucers. The date was given by English porcelain expert, Dr. David Redstone, during a visit of member of the English Ceramic Circle, May 13, 2010.
