Description:
English mustard pot with a cover with a mushroom finial and hole for spoon handle and a coil handle; and decorated with copper lustre and two bands of orange slip around the cover and pot body, both of which have copper lustre stylized grape leaves and tendrils. Its copper lustre decoration is created by applying gold salts to the red earthenware body, where in the heat of the kiln the metal is deposited as a thin layer on the surface.
