Description:
English lusterware open salt with a flared rim, bulbous body, and footed base, covered in copper lustre and decorated with a band of floral sprays in white, orange, and purple. Its copper lustre decoration is created by applying gold salts to the red earthenware body, where in the heat of the kiln the metal is deposited as a thin layer on the surface.
