Description:
Writing case or equipage or "Pocket Escritoir". The folding leather-coverd box has a penholder, ink, sealing wax, tapers, matches, and tape measure, with an almnac for 1844 pasted on the inside of the lid. The whole slides into another red leather case. The donor stated that it was acquired by her father on a trip abroad.
