Description:
English pearlware rectangular platter with scalloped, green shell edge. Bequest from the estate of Nathaniel Hitchcock to PVMA, marked "K509", and listed in the Kitchen as "Green-edged Platter". Hitchcock was the first treasurer of PVMA; the plate descended in his family who lived on Albany Road in Deerfield, Mass.
