Description:
Stoneware jar covered with a dark brown sip, with an incised "C" on the side opposite the round spout, which might have been for the Crafts family (potters) of Whately. There are two small handles on the top side, each with a small hole to hold a thong or string. There is a C-shaped lip on the base to hold while pouring.
