Description:
English creamware, globular teapot with painted black and iron-red decoration. The cover has a pierced acorn knop over floral sprays. The pot is decorated with three exotic birds in a flowery landscape on one side and two birds and floral sprays on the other, and has a crabstock handle and spout. Very early example of creamware with a crabstock handle. The creamware has an intense color.
