Description:
Chinese export porcelain saucer with petal molding ('artichoke' or 'lotus leaf' pattern) on the body, decorated in the Famille rose palette in blue, black, iron red, pink, greens, yellow, and gilding. The center well has an iron red flower with green leaves; The bands of molded petals around the well and rim have alternating iron red, black, and gilt floral sprays and insects. There are traces of the gilding outlining the molded petal edges. The rim has three iron red bands: plain, scalloped, and dots.
