Description:
Needlework sampler done in silk embroidery on unbleached linen with the inscription, "Letitia A. Blegler Decem / Philadelphia...1834." The sampler has a two-story house with two trees and a white picket fence, a group of animals in front of the house, all surrounded by a meandering vine and leaf boder. The linen ground fabric is split in several locations.
