Description:
English delft punch bowl decorated in blue and a coarsely-powdered purple ground. The exterior, which is covered overall with the purple powdered ground, has five shaped floral reserves in blue. The rim edge is yellow, over a scratch blue wave pattern aound the interior edge, and the same floral spray design in the well. The London attribution is based on the yellow rim, powdered foot rim, and similar design found on fragments from Vauxhall Cross.
