Description:
Chinese export porcelain coffee cup with a coil handle attached with foliate terminals decorated in pink, purple, green, blue, yellow and gilding. The rim has two blue wavy bands flanking a gilt basketweave band, over a row of green dots and another gilt band; over three rows of purple and gilt scalloped bands. The front side of the cup has a gilt three-masted sailing ship crest over the gilt monogram "HMLD" in a shield shape that is bordered with a floral garland with small ribbons at the two upper corners.
