Description:
Framed embroidered picture inscribed with "Elianor Forester her piece of work"and "in the nine year of her age 1739." The picure includes small figure of Adam and Eve on either side of a tree with a snake entwined around the trunk, flanked by two small stags and large pots of flowers, over two large figures of a shepherd and shepherdess with sheep and a goat, all surrounded by an elaborate border.
