Description: English egg top clock in a white marble case decorated with jasperware bas-relief medallions in blue with white sprigs, one medaillion shows two standing young people in classical dress with an older seated woman, the other shows a putto or cupid putting on the mask of a saytr and a classically draped woman, and engraved gilt brass plaques on the sides, the plaques read, "Thy Honour'd Shade!/ shall in my memr'y live/ Remembrance now!/ is all I have to give!/ Lo Kind Remembrancer/ drop a Silent tear/ and Grateful friendship/ Stand a mourner near/ Dearest Brother gone/ Seas? petrified the tears/ prepare to follow/ While thou remainest here."
