Description:
Chinese export porcelain baluster-shaped cream pot with pointed spout, decorated in blue, iron red, black, and gilding. The rim lip has a gilt-edged blue band with gilt stars over a pseudo-armorial shield with the initials "MGB" on the front center in black, blue, and gilt and hanging from a blue tied ribbon. The base has a band of a double daisy gilt chain with blue abstract flowers. The applied S-shaped handle has a moulded and gilt spine on extended heart-shaped terminal.
