Description:
One of two Chinese export porcelain saucer with the seal of State of New Hampshire decorated in blue, red, green, and gilding. These are part of the only known tea set with the arms of the state of New Hampshire (adopted in 1784), which shows the rising sun and a recently launched ship in the harbor at Portsmouth. It was ordered for "J.A.C." - J. A. Colby.
