Description:
Chinese export porcelain teacup decorated with two spotted deer in center beneath a peony tree in rose, brown, green, yellow, blue, white, purple, turquoise, iron red, black, and gilding. Other scroll-like vegetation and bird with a flowing stream. Popular subject of spotted deer (in pairs) foraging amongst the sacred fungus beneath a peony tree.
