Description:
Chinese export porcelain rounded tea canister in the Mandarin palette in iron red, brown, black, purple, yellow, green, and gilding, with overhanging shoulders. It is brightly colored with an outdoor scene of two deer under a tree among fungus and foliage, and a bat in the sky. Both short sides have two sets of floral sprigs. On shoulder around neck two cloud cartouche with purple diaper pattern and iron red flourishes and purple floral sprigs with green leaves. Lid is domed shaped with mushroom knop with traces of gilding. Cloud cartouche surrounding knop with purple diaper pattern and floral sprigs.
