Description:
One of two Dutch delft baluster-shaped chimney vase decorated in blue with a water landscape scene. One side of the vase has a large, shaped reserve decorated with half flower heads, and a scene of a large bulding next to the water in the foreground and a taller building in the background. There is a long flower srpig on the opposite side. The rim is surrounded by four intersecting 'V' shapes alternating with four 'O's. According to Jonathan Horne, 1/23/95, these vases are Dutch and have lost their covers.
