Description:
Chinese export porcelain cream pot with a pinched spout and double-intertwined strap handle ending in foliate terminals, decorated in blue, orange-red, red, green, grey, black, and gilding. The front side has a grey bird (dove?) with traces of a red branch in its peak standing on red, blue and gilt scroll over an orange-red floral spray in a shield-shaped reserve; there are traces of an iron-red flower with green leaves to the left of the reserves and 15 blue stars scattered around the body.
