Watercolor drawing of the coat of arms of the Barnard family with red and white plumes over a shield decorated with 3 arrows and a red stripe, with some plant stalks below. Incorporated into the design in brown-black ink: "BY THE NAME OF BARNARD", over: "He beareth Argent a Chev...les, between three darts Azure/ Creft...og the third."
