Description:
English pearlware teaset with 15 pieces, decorated in the strawberry pattern in red, pink, yellow, and green. The set consists of two teapots and covers, sugar bowl and cover, creamer, five teacups and six saucers. The teapot lids have a fluted flower knob outlined in red, over a stepped domed body with molded leaves and a vent hole, over a painted strawberry and flower surround. The baluster-shaped body has a molded, fluted rim outlined with two red lines, and the main body decorated with strawberries, vines, and flowers, over six molded feet with foliate design. The applied, molded stylized leaf handle has a red leaf decoration, and the applied spout has an animal head spout with red accents and a red rim around the base. The sugar bowl has a fluted flower knob outlined in red, over a garland surround on the lid. The baluster-shaped body has a scalloped rim outlined in red, with two raised-arched sides, over a garland surround on the flared shoulder where the two stylized, molded handles are attached. The main body is decorated with strawberries, vines, and flowers over an applied, molded flat foot. The creamer has the same decoration, with a molded handle with a scrolled top. The cups have a garland surround on the inside rim, a strawberry flower in the well, and the strawberry pattern around the outside. The saucers, with turned feet, have a red line and garland surround around the inside rim, and the strawberry pattern in the well.
