Description:
Sir William Howe was one of the commanders of the English forces in America during the Revolutionary War.Transfer on glass of print of The Honble Sr. Wm. Howe engraved by John Morris. Print is inscribed, "THE HONBLE. SR. WM. HOWE./ Knight of the Bath, & Commander in Chief of His Majesty's Forces in America." and below "LONDON: Publish'd as the Act directs, 10th Novr. 1777, by JOHN MORRIS, Rathbone Place." and on the upper left "Corbutt Delin't & fecit"
