Description:
Queen Anne stool, with a slip seat upholstered in gold wool damask. The rectangular stool has a plain skirt and four cabriole legs ending in pad feet. Stools were once common household items, which were more used and often thrown out. Chairs, which were more valuable, have survived in greater numbers.
