Description:
Stand holding a pillow designed for making bobbin lace. The tripod stand features three whittled legs with a T-shaped support near the bottom. The upper portion provides space to cradle the pillow. The pillow itself is made from green (now faded), satin-weave silk covering, gathered at either short end and crudely seamed in the back. Inside, a burlap cover holds what appears to be straw filling. The circumference of the pillow is about 30", the diameter about 9.25". The stand itself measures 24"H x 16"W x 11.5"D
