The cover has a steel ring secured through a short strap attached to the center top of the cover with two rivets; and extended rim and long collar that fits snugly inside the neck of the pail. The interior of the cover is still coated with tin. The handle ends are held by a ring extending from each of the two triangular-shaped plates, one of which is stamped "INB", which are attached to opposite sides of the sloped shoulder with three rivets. The waisted body has a molded band around the bottom of the shoulder, a shiny impression of an irregularly-shaped joint long one side, and a flat base with a rolled edge.
