Description:
Chinese export porcelain octagonal plate with champfered corners, decorated in black, purple, green, iron red, rose, brown, white, blue, and gilding. The center well has a coat of arms, argent impaling azure with three crescents indicating a second son, and a crest of a stag's head. The well is encircled with a black and gilt double chain with diamonds; the rim has black and gilt double chain and four sprays of rose, purple, green and iron red flowers and four birds in rose and gilt cartouche. Brownish underglaze rim edge.
