Description:
English delft flower brick decorated in blue, originally used to display flower arrangements. Flowers were commonly used room decorations in the 17th and 18th centuries, and were displayed in flower bricks (usually a pair), vases, pots, and bowls. This brick is a rectangular closed container with 18 round, small holes and large round circle banded in blue.
