Description:
Salt-glazed stoneware mug with an applied strap handle and molded flat base, covered with a dark brown glaze; Albany slip coats the mug inside and out. Potter left his fingerprints on the base. Two filed v-notches into the top rim are man-made and later; there is a small fracture around the bottom; a white metal filler was used to fill the v notches at the rim.
