Description:
Dutch delft round punch bowl decorated with a stylized floral design in blue, iron-red, and green; the bowl has steep sides and a narrow foot rim. The design includes large shaped, blue cartouches over smaller cartouches, both with a floral spray, alternating with tall floral sprigs over small cartouches; the spaces between cartouches are filled with iron-red hatching. The center well is covered with blue hatching, and the interior rim has a blue band of eight stylized flower heads.
