Description:
English lusterware jug with an animal handle, decorated with copper lustre and a band of blue slip, and two deer by a tree. Its copper lustre decoration is created by applying gold salts to the red earthenware body, where in the heat of the kiln the metal is deposited as a thin layer on the surface. Mosely inv. #
