Description: This stained glass pane features two figures cloaked in deep blue robes accented with yellow and golden paint. Both figures are set against a red patterned background and within a blue-outlined arch. The one on the right represents the Madonna or the Virgin Mary holding the Child. Madonna’s long golden hair is adorned with a gold crown. The Child holds a gold-decorated object, possibly a globe, in his left hand while raising his right hand in a gesture of blessing. Madonna is wearing a long white shirt and a blue robe while the Child is naked. The figure holding a huge key, representing St. Peter, stands opposite them with an open golden book. He also wears a blue-robed white gown, but his white gown has some gold details. Above the arch, on the left, is a small figure of a man in armor holding a sword above his head, ready to strike a snake-like creature on the ground. On the opposite side is a figure in a golden cloak holding a round container in his right hand and a stylized staff in his left. Between them is a vaguely distinguishable landscape. The panel's upper section shows golden floral designs, while the lower section has decorative borders with golden geometric patterns. The glass pieces are framed within a leaded grid with cracks and damage. (Wasifa Orthy '26)

Label Text: The panel features the Virgin Mary with Christ Child, who holds a golden orb surmounted with a cross in his left hand and raises his right hand in a gesture of blessing. The Virgin wears a golden crown. Saint Peter holds a book and remains recognizable because of his traditional attribute, a large key to heaven, even though his facial features and other details deteriorated over the centuries. Above the arch, on the left, Saint Michael the Archangel in knight's armor is raising a sword to fight Satan in the form of a dragon. He is also holding scales to weigh souls on Judgement Day. On the opposite side is a figure of a bearded man in a golden cloak holding royal regalia—a scepter and a golden orb, which may indicate that he is a royal saint. The inscription below could have provided more context but is no longer legible.
