Label Text: Born in Hanover, Germany. She explored as completely as possible that infinite spectrum of gradations that exists between the densest blacks and the most blinding whites. Second, she chose to explore this tonal range through the medium of the litho-graphic pen, a very strong instrument that allowed her to build up a drawing out of thousands of very fine lines. Third, she decided to reject the linear and work only in terms of mass. She described that universe of living and non-living forms which remains to be discovered, both in our minds and in the undiscovered worlds of the furthermost galaxy.
