Description:
This large olla (cooking pot) is distinctly Zia in its shape and loud geometric patterns. A roadrunner, a common bird featured in Zia pottery, is seen on the ceramic vessel. (The "Zia Bird" is also present on this vessel.) The birds are surrounded by arched red rainbow motifs, as well as empty white space and brown lines. AP2018
