Description:
This wooden male kachina has a painted orange body, with a grey "yoke" and armbands. He wears a white "killt" decorated with a pattern, as well as a white woolen belt and a black yarn neckpiece. In his hands and around his neck is green yarn, which represents Douglas Fir or Juniper. He also has a black yarn bracelet around his wrist. His boots are white. His head, which has painted eyes and a mouth, is decorated with grey, yellow, and orange paint. On top of his head is a headpiece made out of small yellow and white feathers, as well as black yarn. Carved for the tourist trade, he is displayed on a small stand. AP2018
