Description:
Wooden drum stick, bark still on handle. Mallet wrapped with sealskin and nailed to wood. Small leather cord at top of handle.

Label Text:
SKINNER LABEL: A modern Haida Indian drum stick from the Prince of Wales Islands, Alaska, consisting of a round root and stalk of a young tree, the twigs whittled off, bark left on, and the round head being wound with a strip of seal (?) skin, the hair side out. Presented by Dr. and Mrs. V.W. Logan.
