Description: Full stock American Kentucky flintlock rifle, with 41 3/4" octagonal barrel, 7/16" smooth bore. Full length curly maple stock with brass band at muzzle and three brass ramrod guides for 33 1/2" ramrod. Plain brass butt plate, trigger guard and hand plate. Brass crescent on left side of butt and oblong brass patch box on the right. Two sights. Marked on the lock plate "LONDON WARRANTED". Complete and in good condition. The Kentucky rifle was a short range instrument of great precision and the best all purpose weapon ever devised for conditions such as prevailed during the early years of our country.
