Description: British flintlock blunderbuss with 13 inch top spring bayonet, released by finger catch on top of barrel near hammer. 14 3/4 inch round barrel, 13/16 smooth bore, 1 3/8 inch muzzle. Full length walnut stock with checkered grip. Horn tipped wooden ramrod. Plain brass butt plate and engraved brass trigger guard. Lock plate engraved and marked CALVERTS. Top of barrel marked LEEDS with two old proof marks. S stamped on under side of butt. Weight: 6 1/4 lbs See Bannerman's catalogue 1933 - p.19 - #8702
