Label Text: SKINNER CATALOGUE: A tapa stick of hard, dark brown wood, from Tahiti, 1938, used for making tapa cloth. The stick is squared on the working two thirds, one side ridged coarsely, the next finer, the third finer, and the fourth finest. The handle end is rounded to fit the hand. Cat. 6/3/1938.
