Long wooden spools, too long to fit in a traditional boat shuttle, one wound with indigo handspun wool.

Label Text:
SKINNER CATALOG: Five 7 1/4 inch, narrow head, maple spools, on which to wind yarn. One is partly filled with hand spun dark blue wool yarn, spun in 1931.
